About the Event

Outsourcing Today organizes the Second Edition of OT LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT Roundtable on June 7, 2018 at InterContinental Hotel Bucharest starting from 9:00 am. The event brings together the business services professionals to discuss and discover new tools and programs designed to assist businesses in supporting employee development.

The organizational structure and workplace culture, as well as the role and skills demanded of the human resources in the outsourcing industry is quickly evolving so, organizational focus on learning and development will be more and more imperative.

With transformative technologies and the speed of digitalization, human resources must re-imagine long-held approaches to enable the business to adapt and thrive. One of the very real shifts that outsourced and shared services are undergoing worldwide is one of embracing a more value adding, knowledge-based service. This is driven, almost entirely, by the advancement of automation solutions into Shared Services' workplaces, thereby taking mundane, transactional work out of employees' hands and freeing them up to deliver more valuable work, for example by leveraging analytics or business insights to support better decision making.

The demand for technology skills is now pervasive across all functional roles and seniority levels, not only entry-level IT roles. This session will discuss research and best practices to help leaders couple business skills with technical proficiency to advance innovation and business performance in the digital age.

The event aims to focus on the exchange of relevant trends and research results as well as the presentation of practical experiences gained while developing, designing and testing elements of advanced corporate learning. The small group size, around 70 professionals, allows for an intimate experience where you can interact and gain valuable insights from nearly everyone.>
